Very comfortable stay

Pros: Very well equipped and comfortable cottage we took our dogs and there was everything they needed which is unusual but very much appreciated.

Cons: The saucepans were quite heavy.

Lovely place and would stay there again

Pros: Location was perfect for family visit and this was a quiet and comfortable place to stay. Host was very helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable. The house was well supplied with everything you could need and the furniture was good quality (not often the case with holiday rentals).

Cons: The kitchen could use a draining rack to go on the draining board. But that's a small point.

Great host, well equipped cozy house

Pros: The host was fantastic, really accommodating and helpful and even allowed an early check in and late check at no extra cost, which was very good of her. The house was very cozy and very well equipped.

Cons: The location wasn’t great unfortunately which is a shame as the house is so lovely.

Fabulous Property. Great Location

Pros: Absolutely fabulous property with all the amenities/equipment you could need. We loved it so much that we spent more time in the house than initially planned. It was so relaxing we are considering returning in summer to make full use of the gorgeous walled garden. Our host was on hand any time should we need them and a handy guest manual gave us plenty of information. It is close to an Indian restaurant (2 min walk) and one of the best pubs in the area (black horse, 4 min walk). It is also only a few minutes walk to the main road into town and a bus that will take you there.

Beautiful character property in lovely location.

Pros: Beautiful character property, stunning (and very large) master bedroom, lounge and dimplex heaters. Lots of thought and effort had gone into our stay with a welcome note and gift for my friend’s daughter. Dog friendly and the owner was so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

Cons: If we had to picky - the bath wasn’t clean, hot water wasn’t very hot, rubbish bins inside the kitchen were full on arrival and it was very difficult to park our SUV car directly outside the house meaning we had to park on the street.

Pros: Beautiful property. Very cozy, lovely period features, lots of attention to detail and fantastic hosts.
