Hen party much enjoyed!

Pros: Loads of space for large groups, ideal location and comfortable

Cons: Some bits are tired and could do with fixing e.g a broken door on a bedroom.

A perfect place for a family get together beautiful views and lovely decor throughout.

Pros: This property is exceptionally appointed with beautiful views of the surrounding area. It is easily accessible from the A1 and has local attractions close by.

Cons: Everything was so clean welcoming and comfortable.

Storybook property!

Pros: Beautiful house, very picturesque in a pretty area of Yorkshire. This spacious property comfortably fit our family group of 8. Lovely touch that there was a Christmas tree! Nice and warm, very comfortable bed, well appointed kitchen and lovely living room. Close to shops (need a car)

Cons: Smallest bedroom is really only for one person but we only stayed for 2 nights so was not a big issue for us. Would have been nice to have a washing machine and some shower/bath toiletries.

We'd love to return, especially in Summertime, which is why we gave top marks

Pros: Overall a beautiful house, easy to find the key to enter. Excellent luxurious decoration and classy furnishings throughout, so much space, very nice layout. We are a family of 5 adults and everyone said the beds were very comfortable. Quality hand soap provided throughout (not watered down as in some places) - a nice touch. Well equipped huge kitchen. Showers both excellent. Lovely peaceful surroundings with different levels of garden, many trees and nature. Replies to questions we asked beforehand received quickly, we enjoyed our 2 day stay, we were up for a wedding at Harewood House estate.

Cons: We would just suggest the owners turn on the c/h 1 day before; once heated it was lovely and warm! We asked to light the wood burning fire place as it was so cold on arrival, a temp portable heater wd have helped but the owners didn't have one. We found dry wood outside, they brought us fire starters (and a fire extinguisher) Suggest a hand towel be provided for the dstrs WC - luckily we had brought a couple of our own small towels. Smallest bedroom: suggest a storage cupboard could be built in, and a table with bedside lamp as per the other rooms.

November wet weekend

Pros: Very clean and ideally located for our needs. Close to Wetherby

Cons: The heating system was poor. The house was cold when we arrived (in November), not helped by the bathroom window being open!! Despite overriding the auto setting and increasing the temperature on the thermostat, it took until the following day to reach our desired temperature, even then the radiators were only warm. Similarly with hot water, enough to use the kitchen sink but couldn't get hot water for a bath. Several light bulbs didn't work-especially in the bathroom where only one was working, and this flickered continually. The smallest bedroom has nowhere to store clothes, no bedside light and the only accessible socket is by the door-not great. However it's a lovely property and we would happily stay again, maybe not in winter.

Great house with plenty of room in a great perfect position

Pros: We booked looking for a house with plenty of space. The house lived up to expectations. Beds were comfy. The outside area will be renovated and will be a great area once done. Would stay again

Cons: A comfort package with milk, bread etc might be a nice touch to add. We arrived after a 4 hour drive then had to go shopping straight away.

Great getaway

Pros: Excellent location, fantastic host, beautiful property

Cons: Sliding patio door handle was very loose and the decking area needs a refresh, but the host is in the middle of refreshing the house.

Perfection

Pros: Perfect all round for our stay. The facilities inside were spot on which included a highchair for the baby. Couldn't fault it.
