Lovely stay in a great location

Pros: Excellent location and views, beautiful room and house, good place to store our bikes and kitchen had everything we needed. Rachel the host wasn't there when we stayed but we had good communication from her.

Pros: Rachel the host was great. Very welcoming and accomodating. The property is very rural, but perfectly placed if you are walking the 3 Peaks, it is on the path from Pen-y-ghent to Whernside. We started fron here and it broke that long pull up perfectly. The facilities are good and very comfortable.

An exceptionally beautiful place to stay

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay in Old Ing. The accommodation has a very private atmosphere and makes you feel most welcome. The hostess was at all times approachable and helpful. We particularly liked the unique location in the middle of the Dales and our family would definitely holiday in Old Ing again. We were provided with very clear directions for getting there by car. A short stretch of the road is currently in poor condition, but if you drive slowly and carefully, it is no difficulty with an ordinary car.

Ideal break from city life, greeted by a great dog and host and left with a clear mind.

Pros: The property was just what we were looking for! Remote, clean but still with lots of character & a big shared kitchen/ dining room for us to cook and eat in. Beautiful garden & the bath was lovely! Great value for money & Our host Rachel couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly (shout out to little Reggie too)

Cons: Not a dislike. As the point was to go remote! But definitely plan time in advance if you don’t drive (like us) sometimes signposts nearby can be a bit misleading.

A wonderful place to stay, quiet, scenic and just ticked all the boxes!

Pros: We loved it all and Rachel was so helpful allowing us to use the kitchen and the warm welcome.

Cons: The rough part of the road was indeed rough! Rachel gave us fair warning and brilliant location. We are aware that track is not the hosts responsibility.

Warm and welcoming, memorable stay.

Pros: Rachel is very welcoming and a fun host. She was kind in helping us to source food for our stay and made sure we had everything we needed, including plenty of hot water for a bath, after a long walking day.

Cons: Location was a bit tricky to find on a first visit but its beautiful location made up for that.

Pros: I thought i lived in the country until I stayed here! Beautiful surroundings, right on the 3 peak trail. The house was spotless the host Gabi was lovely really friendly. Excellent spot away from hustle and bustle perfect for a chilled and relaxed break but with a village 3 miles away. The sounds at night are unbelievable!!
