Pros: Very cosy and convenient for sightseeing in York, just a short bus ride out of the city and a train ride away from Knaresborough and Mother Shipton’s Cave.

A great visit to York

Pros: YCH is situated in a nice, quiet location, well connected with the city centre by bus, or a ten-minute, unhurried drive in your own car. The hosts are so kind and very helpful. A nice, neat, clean and modern room with free access to the internet, free leaflets and maps of York. Free tea and coffee. An absolute gem for a solo traveller. Thank you very much for your hints and tips about what to see in York and how to find my way around. Definitely, I would like to stay there again.

Would defo stay again for a short break.

Pros: Handy for public transport into / out of York and easy access off ring road. Excellent host and good location - great value for money. Very responsive when I needed an extra pillow.

Cons: Very little at this price point.

An excellent property for a single person to stay at whilst visiting York.

Pros: Excellent friendly host, Rebecca and a super comfortable, clean room with all the facilities you need. It’s on a well served bus route which Rebecca gave information about. It is a straight forward walk into the centre of York also.

York is the most beautiful city I have visited - made affordable and accessible by my stay here

Pros: The stay was only a very short bus journey from the city . Rebecca gave very clear information of this bus service and of all general facilities locally. There was a very friendly pub - The Green Tree - within very close walking distance, where I could watch Premier League football .
