The Townhouse Central York

Pros: Room was clean, tidy and had everything we needed and it was a good location to the main city. Peter also sorted the parking before we arrived so we did not need to find alternative parking to stay here. Friendly, welcoming and made sure we were comfortable while we stayed.

Lovely place to stay, A+ and will hopefully be there again sometime.

Pros: Lovely comfortable room, very well fitted out and extremely spacious - it could easily have been converted into two rooms. Shared bathroom on the same floor (only shared with one other room). Peter also provided tea, coffee, fresh milk, and cookies in the room! Be aware that breakfast is not provided and you may have to walk quite a bit to find somewhere that serves breakfast if you want more than a cup of tea. (No complaints as Peter made this clear when booking, but if you prefer someplace that provides breakfast it may be useful to know.) As there's a small fridge in the room, there's also the option of buying something the previous day to keep in it overnight.

Pros: Townhouse location is great for the Town and walk to Train Station. Townhouse is well equiped and very comfortable. Peter checks in with you to make sure you are ok or need anything. Just lovely.

Pros: Beautiful room, spotlessly clean, near to the minster. Fab weekend & would highly recommend it.

Pros: Beautifully presented historic property. Set in a very quiet street, yet close to all amenities. Excellent room with everything one could possibly need. Lovely private en-suite, comfortable bed. Excellent!

10/10 Trip to the wonderful city of York

Pros: Excellent location - 10/15 min walk into the main town area! Absolutely lovely room - very clean and Peter the host was so lovely and always checked in on us to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed. It was my first experience of having a shared bathroom and I was a little apprehensive but I really didn't need to be - it worked perfect and the bathroom itself was wonderful. Thanks Peter - I will be back :)

Cozy, reachable and accessible. Perfect for spending couple of days in chocolate city!

Pros: The location was amazing. It was reachable to the main street and bus stop. We loved the apartment. It was cozy and fitted with all the appliances needed. There was a small room right next to ours which was open for access and it had small board games. We would like to visit again!

Our visit to York

Pros: Quiet location, even though only 10mins from the centre. Peter, the landlord was very welcoming and discreet. We had no issues with a shared bathroom, it works very well. We had a wonderful stay in York !!
