Quaint, well equipped property on hillside location close to Halifax and with great views

Pros: Quaint property on hillside location with good views 2 miles from Halifax centre. Small but well equipped kitchen with welcome pack of essentials. Hosts communication excellent with good information provided in the property about it and the and surrounding area. Parking for one car located close by the property. Ideal for short break and base for exploring the area.

Cons: Stairs down to bedroom and upstairs to mezzanine are steep so may not suit all,

Exceptional property, we will be back!

Pros: Cosy, quirky with fascinating history. See information and photos in the property. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. So nice to have toiletries and kitchen items provided so you can just turn up and settle in! The owners are nearby, super helpful and very quick to respond to any queries. Ideal, quiet location, 5 minutes from Halifax centre but surrounded by beautiful countryside, ideal for walking. Very friendly local pub too. We will be back.

Pros: Location for Piecehall and good pub restruants ,owner availability,directions and support,nice little touches e.g tea /sugar etc,the cottage was set up lovely with a snug upstairs and good size .bedroom decent size .Lovely walk to Shibden mill then park

A great unique property in a great location.

Pros: It’s a great location, ideal for local pubs and to get into Halifax with a bus service at the end of the road. The kitchen is well stocked, with all that you need for a short stay and toiletries are also provided. Stacey, the host is always very sccomodating, enabling an earlier check in.

Cons: The bed is up against the wall making it difficult for the second person to get in/out. Could it not be turned around?

I didn't want to leave!

Pros: Communication with the hosts was great, the welcome pack had everything you'd need to know, the property has been done to such a high standard and was spotless. I stayed here as I was attending a sewing retreat at Dean Clough and it was the perfect place to chill out after the busy days.

Lovely cottage

Pros: Lovely cottage and the extra touches made it even more lovely.. We really enjoyed our weekend away and was so nice to relax and recharge in the evening after a few drinks.. Nice little setup.. Loved looking through how the cottage was made, too.. 👌
