Happy stays in Leeds
Pros: We stayed in the property for almost 2 weeks. The property manager, Aania, is very helpful, she arranged early checkin for us. She also responds to urgent matter very quickly, understood the window water leak and broken heater couldn't be fixed instantly though. Aania also tried her best and helped us to extend the stay in a very last-minute. We highly appreciated and overall is happy with the stay :)
Cons: The stay is not the same as the picture, but is not worse than the pictures, so no complain, probably is different flat in the same building. The Wifi is not stable in the first two days, we cant even finish one movie, there is Samsung TV but we couldnt log on our Netflix account, don't know why. But the later days are good, may be less guest is checked in and no need to share the wifi. The shower pressure is soooo low, take sometime to wash the long hairs, and as there is no door or curtains for the shower, water splashed out and make the bath mat all wet, we tried to ask for one more but no feedback. Could provide more towels and toilet paper for staying a week and above. Price-wise is a bit expensive to me, but was also surprised the average hotel/airbnb's price in Leeds are quite high, most of them are even fully booked during the period we stayed! With such high demand, i think for this price with the whole space we have is not bad, can't say anything anymore. Last thing, there is a free taxi ride offered by booking.com when booking the stay. We appreciated it but the taxi driver and the taxi company was being not transparent on the extra charge and trying to ask for 20pounds after we are half way to the property , said we have too much luggages and we were late (unfortunately we need to queue for the luggage damage claim, however we had been keep texting the driver our status and saying sorry...) Anyway, just becareful with the taxi driver of the free ride.
