Great stay

Pros: Very cosy cottage . Very well equipped. Lovely touch of leaving Tea , coffee , which was delicious sugar , milk and lovely biscuits. Thank you for the wine - much appreciated . Our dog especially liked her stay . Perfectly situated for the town. We had a lovely Sunday lunch across the road and a very good Chineese take away on the second night. We took advantage of the scrabble both nights. Great to be able to park outside the cottage. And the street was quiet at night. The beds are very comfortable .

Cons: The stairs are challenging , especially if you are on your late 60's early 70's , Which we are 😜

Sad,but nice to come back to my roots and see my family.

Pros: Good location , and near to the shops.Our stay was for a family funeral near by,so we didn’t get time to explore.Be back to visit again in the future.

Cons: Nothing ,that’s all I can say.Acommodation was spot on,and near to where we wanted to be.

Pros: Great location, warm and cosy in a very quiet street,quick walk into Thirsk centre..lovely welcome pack on arrival and great communication with the host..it was like home from home...

Wedding party

Pros: Ideal location for Thirsk town centre. We were attending a wedding at Thirsk Lodge barns. Cottage had everything we needed for a short stay. Welcome pack was a very nice touch. No problem with parking.

Cons: Not much room for 4 people getting ready for a wedding at the same time, but we all managed ok. Us men just stayed out of the way !!

Pros: It was a wonderfull peacfull location but still close enough for the town centre a great pub the lord nelson is just a few yards from the herriots nook where awarm welcome awaits as well as great value home cooked meals the area has great walks along the river where u can take your dog or just for couples to go for a peacfull walk that takes through a wonnderfull woodland walk also a wonderfull picnik area to relax in

Cons: There is nothing negative one can say it is a great place to stay
