Thirsk Hall South Wing

Pros: We really enjoyed our stay at Thirsk Hall. It is a beautiful location, very clean and comfortable. We will definitely return for another stay.

Absolutely stunning location

Pros: Property was outstanding with fantastic views. Staff couldn’t be more helpful and very clean on arrival. Well equipped kitchen with no complaints. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Great location- we were there for an event in the Hall - so really convenient. Short walk to town

Pros: Great location- very comfortable bed and bedding Everything there that you needed

Cons: My only criticism is that the shower needed a mat, as found it very slippery- we are both older so perhaps more aware of falling over😂

Pros: The instructions were very clear, accurate and easy to understand. Time and consideration were put into the ease of arrivals and departure. We were given prior notice of events that may disturb our stay. We felt like part of the family

Cons: Nothing to dislike, half net curtains on the front windows would be a bonus for people who prefer the natural light.

lovely apartment with everything you need

Pros: Lovely stay in a beautiful location. The grounds are stunning and everything there that you needed. Daisy was lovely and although we didnt need anything i am sure she would have provided anything you didn't have. Great up front communication as well

Great weekend in the lovely market town of Thirsk

Pros: Excellent location, within easy walking distance of town centre with plenty of good restaurants and bars to choose from. Good secure parking on site with easy to manage codes for locked areas. Many steps involved so definitely not for those with mobility problems. Both double bedrooms very comfortable but old property with single glazed large windows so could be cold in mid- winter. Great view over extensive gardens at back with accessible sculpture garden. Host very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed eating at Bianco (Italian restaurant) and the Thai restaurant close by.

Cons: No hanging space in either bedroom so nowhere for the men's smart suits. During the day the noises from the family next door were obvious but no problem after 7pm. Maybe more coffee mugs in the kitchen would be useful especially if want to use the dishwasher but otherwise kitchen well appointed.

Pros: Location was amazing and the views were beautiful it's only a short walk to the town centre. And apartment was lovely .

Cons: No where to hang your clothes and no welcome pack . There was milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine which was a lovely touch but no individual coffee or tea bags there was some in the caddy's in the cupboard but coffee was hard and we are decaf and no option for us but these are just minor things.
