Pros: In a nice quiet area Staff were amazing Food was incredible Beautiful scenery

Cons: Found a few ants but not to worry as it’s in the countryside

Love this little gem there is a real buzz about the place

Pros: Great location Great food Great staff The mussels were exceptional food and drinks reasonably priced

Cons: I feel the rooms lack a little side table and I was unsure where to leave the keys on the way out

Pros: The views were amazing and the staff were so friendly.

Cons: Lots of spider webs around the property. They also have a beautiful restaurant with a glass front to see the incredible views and they were dirty.

Casa, amazing views

Pros: Lovely comfortable bed, and really nice shower. Over looking some lovely scenery. Tea making facility's available, and nice clean towels and bedding.

Cons: Only issues was at 02:15am loud tv music and talking from upstairs. Could really do with someone at night walking around to check if people are quiet. Walls are abit thin, hear every sound. Also no breakfast available.

Beautiful location, good value

Pros: Beautiful location. I had a room overlooking the river, which was lovely. My daughter was on the road side of the building, and she found it extremely noisy, something which can't be helped. Didn't use the bar and restaurant, but the place was buzzing, with hen dos and a baby shower, so it is obviously very popular in the local area.

Cons: Would have liked a shelf in the shower, or a soap dispenser on the wall. Whilst you provided shower gel, there was nowhere to put it. The shower door didn't close properly, so I didn't have a lot of room in the cubicle as I was confined to a small square area. The wi-fi was very intermittant, and maybe there could be separate wi-fi available for guests, with a password to improve this, so you aren't sharing it with all the bar and restaurant users as well. The 5G/4G service in the area is extremely poor, so wi-fi is essential.

Pros: Love the location, view, ease of walking access along canal to Elland.

Very warm welcome, nice comfy bed, bathroom modern and walk in shower. We had a terrace, we sat on evening and watched

Pros: Could sit outside our room and look over the lake Watched sunset

Cons: Would have liked a lamp personal preference, inside of the big lights when settling down

Pros: The service was impeccable, the staff extremely efficient and very helpful had a beautiful meal on our first evening there,lovely warm welcome, tea/coffee facilities excellent, continental breakfast fabulous, fresh fruit,juice,cereal bars,croissants, bottles water,bronte assorted biscuits ,tea/coffee,all in all a very pleasant stay,oh and the views from the room over the lake,fabulous ,we were down from Scotland for a family funeral, the staff and management team made sure we had a pleasant stay,definitely recommend and definitely stay again

Cons: The room 5 was a little tight hard to manoeuvre round the double bed,2 single beds would have been better for the space, the bathroom a little tight,could be better if there was a mirror in there instead of where you hang your clothes,all in all the room was a tight but pleasant

Pros: The hotel was lovely. Exceptional views and location. Food was lovely we had pizza which were the best we'd ever had. The rest of the food looked really nice too. nice suprise when we returned to the room late on as we had been to a concert, was a breakfast bag outside each room with continental breakfast in it.

Cons: The bar staff!! Over charged us for a drink we never ordered, also one of the pizzas never arrived at the table we had to ask for it after 10 minutes of giving them a chance. Was told we had never ordered it and needed paying for which after 5 minutes of arguing with the young man, he discovered we had payed for it, the girl who took the order (same girl who over charged us for the drink) had not put it through to kitchen. We also asked him at 3pm if could book us a mini bus for 4.30pm to take us into huddersfield. At 4.45pm after waiting outside we asked him to check where it was. Turns out he never ordered it in the first place and only ordered it when we asked him to check where it was. Gave us some story about been stuck in traffic. Obviously we asked the driver when he arrived. Also curtains in the rooms need to be thicker, they are like tissue paper.

Gorgeous View & Beer Garden. Beautiful restaurant

Pros: View from room was gorgeous. Restaurant and beer garden were beautiful, although didnt get chance to try the food. Told when we got there that we also had complimentary continental breakfast in the room, which was a nice touch

Cons: Bathroom was tiny, size you would find in a caravan. No mirror in bathroom or even a place to hang a towel. Rest of room provisions were adequate. Room at night was very hot. Not sure why as no heating on. But enough windows to open
