Cracking little bed and breakfast!

Pros: Lynne and four-legged sweet Clara gave me a very warm and hearty welcome to her stunning house in midst of the beautiful mountain chains of the Wharfedale, and right at the Dales Way, the perfect base for hikes or just for relaxation, for example in the beautiful guest living room with an warming fireplace! Bed was comfy, breakfast was delicious and Lynne even gave me a lift to the Blue Bell Inn in Kettlewell, because the nearby pub Buck Inn was closed and she drove me back again after dinner. I would highly recommend it to stay there, it was a lovely experience.

Cons: That I only stayed one night

Perfect. What more do you need?

Pros: Warm, welcoming, comfortable and clean. Lynne (and Clara) make this a real home-from-home. After walking in all weathers, to come back to a roaring fire and a lovely guest lounge is just the ticket. The breakfasts are amazing. Lynne is a lovely, friendly host and the whole set-up just feels nice and comfortable. Room and ensuite were immaculate and modern. The house is warm and there is a great little room for drying off your boots and kit. A perfect stop for us.

Cons: Having to leave. I got addicted to the black pudding!

Comfortable and welcoming.

Pros: The breakfast was excellent and the packed lunch we ordered was delicious. A most welcoming host who even drove us to the local pub, The George, a superb recommendation.

Great stay, wish I could have stopped longer.

Pros: Spotlessly clean, modern feel whilst still keeping the original character of the building, spacious, warm and welcoming. Lynne was fantastic, couldn’t do enough to help, and Clara the dog was lovely.

Cons: Nothing at all.

Best b and host ever

Pros: The most practical and welcoming host ever. We arrived in a storm dripping wet, Lynne had boot dryers, towels, hot fire! Plus lovely big bathrooms, comfy beds and generous breakfast.

Fantastic B&B

Pros: Beautiful refurbished cottage. Rooms were fantastic. Spacious and bathroom was large. We also had a bath but the other room did not but was still magnificent. Lynne was a great hostess. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Very knowledgeable. Her dog Clara was great too and loved a pat. Lovely little village.

Pros: The Romany's cottage hostess was very welcoming. We felt at home and very well looked after. The breakfast was amazing, we had cooked breakfast every day. The rooms were very nice, very comfortable beds with amazing views of the hills from bedroom windows. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Pros: This is one of the best Bed & Breakfast experiences I have ever had. Holidays and breaks are for enjoyment and relaxation... the land lady (Lynne) made us feel like it was 'Home from Home'... so this personal friendly conscientious application of her care and attention to looking after you as the guest was brilliant. The location is perfect and for long or short stay in this area I can absolutely recommend 'Romany Cottage' as the best venue to stay at... \
