A gem of a place Will definitely be back

Pros: We truly cannot express how much we loved our stay here. It was clear that the lovely couple who run this place put their hearts into making everything perfect for their guests. Their genuine care and kindness made our time here incredibly comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and thoughtfully equipped with all the amenities we needed—such as a kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits, and coffee bags. The small flask of milk was a simple but meaningful touch, far better than the UHT options that appear to be everywhere these days. We also appreciated the multi-plug with USB ports and bedside lamps, which made managing our many devices much easier. It’s evident that they care deeply about their guests' comfort, and that makes all the difference. Thank you for making us welcome.

Lovely Stayover

Pros: Lovely place for an overnight stay, with very friendly staff, beautifully decorated, and delicious breakfast.

Dukes Stay

Pros: Welcoming on arrival, home from home, Maria and Steve very friendly and tentative

Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Comfortable, convenient, friendly hosts good breakfast.

Cons: Bathroom could do with brighter lighting. But only a minor point.

Pros: Friendly Owners. Clean and tidy good food and service.

Cons: Taps a little difficult to turn off for older folks and light switches ( ceiling a little longer for small adults.

Lovely hosts, best location, fully recommend

Pros: Excelllent cooked breakfast plus continental options - all good quality

Cons: A desk and chair in the room and a full length mirror would have been good. Tiny TV!!

A very welcome overnite stay

Pros: We had an overnite stay whilst en-route cycling the Way of the Roses.

Pros: Excellent accommodation, large comfortable bed, powerful shower! The breakfast was excellent.

Cons: The weather was cold and the room was just about warm enough in the evening but on the cool side in the early morning.
