A wonderfully warm and charming stay in a beautiful home.

Pros: I had the most wonderful stay at Gospatric House. From the moment I arrived, Angela and Martin were exceptional hosts – incredibly welcoming, genuinely kind, and wonderfully flexible with my arrival time. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, and their warmth really made my stay special. The house itself is absolutely beautiful – full of charm, character, and a cosy, quaint atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. My room was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully presented. Breakfast was delicious, clearly made with care, and enjoyed in such a peaceful, lovely setting. The village is idyllic, the perfect backdrop for a relaxing break. I only wish I could have stayed longer. I also loved meeting their gorgeous dog, Kirkby, who added an extra touch of joy to the whole experience. Gospatric House is a real gem, and Angela and Martin are truly outstanding hosts. I’d recommend this place wholeheartedly and can’t wait for the chance to return.

Pros: Beautiful room. Very comfy bed with lovely bed linen. Fabulous breakfast. Angela and Martin were so friendly. Decaf tea and coffee provided for my pregnant daughter.

Great Yorkshire welcome in lovely house

Pros: Exceptionally comfortable stay in a beautiful period house right in the centre of the delightful, lived-in village. The hosts are charming, great fun with excellent local knowledge of where to eat. Breakfast was in the conservatory and first class.

Pros: We were quite suprised to find that we were the only guests staying at the property. Our hosts, Martin & Angela looked after us extremely well, and nothing was too much trouble. It felt like we were staying with friends! Room was perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable, which, combined with the complete lack of noise from outside ensured a good night's sleep. Wi-Fi was excellent, with a very good download speed. Breakfast was delicious, they make it to order, made exactly as you like. Car parking was available on the property's driveway, at no charge. A most enjoyable stay, just a great shame that solely due to my wife's unexpected health issues we had to cut short our stay, and actually only stayed two nights instead of the booked three.
