Throstle Nest Farm

We had a great stay, fabulous location and lovely hosts. The cooked breakfast was delicious-thank you.

Pros: We had a really comfortable family room. The house is beautiful and the breakfast room with the fire burning in the large fireplace is very homely.

Perfect for our Christmas treat.

Pros: Beautiful building. Beautiful breakfast room. Beautiful views.

Cons: Parking was a little tight. However, this is NOT a criticism. We would absolutely stay again.

A beautiful place to escape to!

Pros: Beautiful farmhouse in a lovely setting. Very comfortable room, nice and warm and the bed was just right for me. Breakfast was delicious made with good quality ingredients and the lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful. If you need a little break this place is perfect and Skipton town centre is very close if you want to do a bit of shopping.

Pros: The room was excellent, bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, all items were perfect. Fantastic breakfast room and views. Great location only 7 minutes from Skipton.

Cons: Toilet had a weak flush, shower had a tendency to leak around the door.

Pros: Location was beautiful, Stayed 2 nights Breakfast was very good. Very friendly staff. I had to leave early on the 2nd morning so didn't have time for breakfast that day. Perfectly peaceful stop off point on the return leg of my long motorcycle journey from Shetland to Oxford and back to Shetland. Would highly recommend.

Cons: I have nothing negative to say.

a comfortable and quiet stay

Pros: The location was very peaceful, yet only a short drive into Skipton. The family room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed the choice of breakfast and everything was nicely cooked. More tea and toast was available on request and the host was friendly.

Cons: The parking spaces were a bit tight and on our leaving day, someone had parked across our car, making it very difficult to get out.

Fabulous place, TV could be better, I would book again though.

Pros: Stayed a couple of times now. Great quiet location, comfy bed, lovely staff.

Cons: The TV has loads of channels missing and couldn’t be re-tuned. It is not very clear to watch from the bed due to the angle it’s mounted on the wall. I had brought my laptop luckily so I watched Netflix on that.

Great stopover on our travels, lovely property & hosts

Pros: Great hosts, lovely breakfast, very clean, nothing to criticise at all.

Relaxing and friendly.

Pros: The breakfast was fabulous, really tasty and the location was really wonderful. I was there to work, so i was too tired to explore. The weather was pleasant and there were people taking advantage of the outdoor seating. I really enjoyed the picturesque landscape and the farm critters.

Cons: The trains, but that can't be helped. The walls were a bit thin where I stayed, but it is a converted barn, so to be expected for load bearing.
