Tipsy Cottage Charming 2 bedroom home.

Beautiful little cottage, friendly and welcoming hosts, lovely little town with everything you need.

Pros: We loved everything about the cottage. It has been beautifully renovated and extremely comfortable. The hosts have thought of every detail to make you feel welcome, including a lovely welcome pack including wine, cookies, milk, bread and butter. The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the high street and pretty little town. Lots of lovely walks are nearby as well as Otley, Ilkley. The Yorkshire Dales are a short drive away.

Cons: Be prepared to park a little away from the cottage at busy times. Not a problem but something to be aware of if you are not a confident parker.

Pros: We love the village location, close to family and friends - and some of the outdoors on the doorstep. The property is clean and well looked after, and comfortable for us.

Cons: We were lucky to park close to the house on two days, but not on one of the days, but that’s clear when we book.

Comfortable, warm ; a real home from home

Pros: Clean and comfortable. The cottage is so well positioned in the village and convenient for buses and trains too. The hosts generously provided wine, milk, bread and biscuits which was a lovely touch

Quaint and quirky, good base for exploring.

Pros: Clean & well decorated. Comfy downstairs, small but well appointed kitchen. We took all our meals with local family - helpful to have basics, (Thank you!) The wine was a lovely touch & much appreciated. Love the quirky floors and nod to the old heritage of the place. Ideally suited for family visit. Parking unpredictable on this road.

Cons: The only things was that the bunk beds were ideal for children, but mattresses a little too thin for this older adult(!)

Pros: A lovely property in a super location. Everything you could need was provided and hosts were very helpful.

A lovely cozy cottage in the hear of Burley

Pros: Lovely, comfortable, simply decorated cottage in the perfect location for visiting my relatives. The cottage has a lovely calm feel to it. It’s cozy & well equipped with a small kitchen, comfortable living room, beautiful master bedroom with a cute walk in wardrobe, beautiful modern bathroom & lovely but small bunk bedroom. The back yard is a great sun trap & perfect for an evening glass of wine.

Cons: There wasn’t really anything I didn’t like but thought there were a couple of wee improvements that could be made. It would be good to have more than one tea towel in the kitchen as well as an oven glove. The microwave could have done with a clean & parking was a bit hit & miss. But overall it’s a lovely cottage & I’d definitely stay again.

A very cosy cottage

Pros: The cottage is in the centre of the village within a minute's walk of local shops and pubs. Although the weather was freezing, the cottage was very cosy and warm. Most of the shops and pubs are dog friendly. A great place to stay.

Lovely, cosy cottage with everything we needed.

Pros: Lovely, cosy, clean traditional cottage with modern facilities in the heart of Burley in Wharfedale, close to local shops and restaurants. Perfect base for visiting family who live nearby. The cottage was very warm during a particularly cold snap, with the central heating on for us on arrival about 9pm on a very cold night. The cottage had everything we needed and a welcome package including bread, milk, biscuits and even a bottle of wine was very welcome. Louise was very helpful and prompt at answering any questions we had before arrival and sent clear instructions regarding access, Wi-Fi, tv etc. Parking was on street, but we had no problem finding a space close to the property during our 2 night stay.
