Great historic property and beautiful views.

Pros: The property was fantastic, gorgeous and historic, full of interesting nooks and crannies. The view opening the curtains each morning over the fields was worth a million pounds. And plenty of books and games provided for all the family. Exactly what we needed for a great holiday and I can't wait to come back.

A lovely, characterful cottage in a peaceful location.

Pros: The cottage was really nice with lots of original features. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the use of the outside space. We were delighted with the standard of the accommodation and would love to return.

Cons: The WIFI wasn't the best but that's probably to be expected in this location.

Pros: scenic location. pleasant hosts. excellent and interesting accommodation appreciated the welcome pack -bread, butter biscuits etc especially the wine

Cons: nothing but be careful exiting the property onto a blind bend.

Historic, relaxing cosy cottage weekend with family

Pros: Lovely thoughtful welcome basket of local produce on arrival. Very well equipped kitchen. Near to train station and beautiful walks in the dales. Comfortable beds. Owners next door for assistance if required.

Cons: Shower over bath difficult for elderly family members.

Pros: Lovely welcome basket on arrival, comfortable and clean, lots of small additions you don't normally see in a rental, tin foil, cling film, tea bags, coffee, salt, pepper, matches and wood for the fire. Lots of leaflets on local area on things to do.

Homely winter stay with friends in a charming, cozy historic cottage.

Pros: The coziness, fireplace, kitchen, charming historic character, proximity to the train station and the fact our host left us some bread, milk, butter, wine and Christmas cake to welcome us to the place was a lovely touch.
