Perfect little stay, has everything you need

Pros: Cosy Cottage - perfect trip away walking in the dales. The owner Gill has great communication and responds very fast.

Very good would recommend staying here.

Pros: Great property, very cosy and quiet for a relaxing break. all the amenities were of great quality. Great location to access many attractions in the dales and a local cafe nearby

Cons: We couldn’t control the heating ourselves. Even though gill is on hand to control this, still feels like we would be a hindrance asking her to come to sort which I’ve never had this with any other property I have stayed at. Might be that we stayed in winter but we thought the teles were abit basic for streaming apps like YouTube Netflix etc and didn’t really work. I fully appreciate that you aren’t in the dales to watch tele but sometimes for a cozy night you just want to put your fav shows on.

Pros: We couldn't fault anything with this property, it's beautiful, has everything you need and more. Gillian the host was wonderful, goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect ❤ we will definitely be back soon x

Relaxing break

Pros: The cottage was in a great location with nearby pubs restaurants and shops etc. Facilities were clean and had nice decor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and was exactly what we needed. Thank you to the host as well for being so helpful and welcoming during our stay.

Cons: The only con I have was the fact that you were not able to operate the heating yourself however we already knew this before our stay so I can’t complain.

Pros: Beautiful cottage and location in a little Hamlet, clean and well kept, cupboard facilities excellent, host was very accommodating.

Cons: Heating on timers so only on till 10am and off all day till 5pm the host was lovely and very accommodating and altered the timing to come on at 3pm, I don't like having to ask for the heating to be put on as we was cold, it was a cold couple of days we had and it can't be assumed you will be out all day, its road side parking which isn't ideal when taking two cars and the neighbour wants to be awkward how he parks taken up unnecessary space.

Pros: Location, gorgeous cottage, had everything you needed, very clean and well furnished.

Cons: A brighter outside light would be helpful for the darker mornings/evenings. Freezer compartment in fridge didn't work properly.

Pros: We stayed at this beautiful property from the 25th–27th July as part of our 3 Peaks Challenge, and it was absolutely perfect! The location couldn’t have been better—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for our adventure. From the moment we arrived, the place had a warm, welcoming, and homely vibe that instantly made us feel at ease. The property was truly picturesque. Every room was immaculately clean, the beds were super comfy, and it had absolutely everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We had the pleasure of meeting our host Gillian during checkout—she was so friendly and lovely, which made the experience even better. We’re already looking forward to our next hiking trip in the Yorkshire Dales, and there’s no doubt we’ll be booking this cottage again. Thank you so much, Gillian!

Pros: It was set in a the most picturesque rural area with sheep in the garden 😀 It was clean and perfect size for our group of 3. Would 100% recommend this property for exploring the stunning countryside

The perfect country getaway

Pros: This is THE MOST charming cottage. I suspect it’s one of the oldest cottages in the village. Beautifully restored and full of character, it’s also got all mod cons. Impeccably clean and really cozy and comfortable
