Farsley Cottage

Stylish, comfortable cottage, excellent location.

Pros: Clean, spacious bedrooms and bathroom, comfortable beds. Full equipped kitchen. Owners were exceptionally helpful in managing our booking and considerate as we were attending a family funeral.

Cons: Only one small issue for us was there is no table to eat at, only a sofa and coffee table. Our stay was short so not too impactful.

Very nice, well equipped cottage in great location.

Pros: Perfect location for our requirements (weekend visit to relatives). Close to train station. Parking outside. Perfect size. Well equipped. Nice decor. Very comfortable and clean. Good sized kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom.

A pleasant stay in a nice area of Leeds.

Pros: Farsley is a lovely area and the comfortable house is minutes away from its lively high street.

Cons: We parked on the main road as it’s a sometimes a little tricky to park outside the house though we had no trouble unloading the car.

A cute house in a nice village, ideally placed for our family visit.

Pros: Very fresh, clean and uncluttered. The beds and sofa were very comfortable. Very kind of the owners to leave us milk and water.

Cons: It was dark at times inside without the lights on, some of the fittings in the bathroom were loose.

Perfect location and a lovely little cottage

Pros: It was lovely and light and clean and in a perfect location - near to Farsley centre and also close to the nearby train station. The coffee from CAF next door was superb and although we didn’t try any the cakes, croissants and cannoli all looked delicious.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike about the property - a coat stand or similar would have been helpful to hang our coats but overall a perfect spot for our few days away.

Fantastic little cottage in a great location.

Pros: Beautifully furnished and decorated to a high quality. Both mum and I felt comfortable and warm in the evenings. Beds were very comfortable also.

Cons: A microwave would have been helpful, however it wasn’t a problem during our stay.

Lovely pad for a short stop over!

Pros: Great decor and wonderfully clean. Very comfortable and a super location.

Cons: For the price it could do with a few more extras i.e. towels, tea towel, oven gloves etc

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Farsley cottage, it will be the first choice for my next visit.

Pros: Farsley cottage is an amazing find, its central village location offers easy access to all local amenities, there are great transport links to the larger towns and to Leeds airport. The property itself is stunning and offers exceptional value for money, perfect for both short or long stays. Communication with the host was delightful, Dee was prompt, efficient and nothing seemed too much trouble. I only hope it’s available on my next visit to the area.

Cozy, Modern Cottage

Pros: The accommodations were very modern and clean. There was plenty of room for both my son and I to have private space. I like that the accommodations were within walking distance to my daughter and son-in-law. Also plenty of shops and restaurants close by.

Cons: The only suggestion I would have is to have a close horse available. There was a washer but there was no way to hang clothes to dry. I thought maybe the intention was to use the clothes racks, but I think the flocked hangers would have been ruined by wet clothes. A lighter top sheet or blanket would have been helpful too as it was very hot with the duvet. My daughter did give us some top sheets to borrow so that was nice. Oh, and a mop would have been handy as the shower partition did not keep all water within the tub.
