Steeple View - A two bedroom 18th century cottage.

Pros: Amazing spot. Great amenities and great feel. If you want a perfect little getaway in Leeds, this is it.

Cosy cottage in Calverley

Pros: Comfortable beds, nice & cosy lounge room, pleasant neighbourhood, close to local amenities, good internet, very close to the bus stops to get into town (& Headingly cricket ground for part of our group).

Cons: There was a lack of hooks or towel rails for drying clothes & towels; lack of toiletries; and the lack of mirror in the top floor bedroom. While not an issue for our group the 39 steps (narrow & steep) across 4 levels could be an issue for some people.

Pros: The beds were comfortable, good quality bedding and lovely soft towels. Kitchen was well equipped, had everything we needed. comfy and relaxing front room.

Cons: Kettle and iron needed descaling. Plug in bath got stuck. Could not plug in one of lamps in top bedroom and other only just reached plug . would have liked a mirror in top bedroom.

Gorgeous comfortable cottage in lovely quiet street, everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Pros: Lovely comfortable lounge and kitchen was well stocked with cutlery, crockery etc. Travel cot and high chair provided were excellent quality too. Very quiet area and front garden lovely to sit out in on an evening.

Cons: A lot of stairs to go up and down but not a problem for us.

Had a terriffic stay, will return if available another time!

Pros: Property was just a few miles from my daughter, and close to amenities.

We had a delightful stay in this comfortable house and will certainly go back there again.

Pros: The house was well equipped, clean and well presented . It had good facilities and was in a great location.

Cons: It would be helpful to have stair gates available for the basement stair and also one up to the first floor. This would have been helpful for dogs and when there are children staying there in the future. Also, an additional handrail for the steep basement stair would be useful.

Pros: The individual rooms were lovely and very comfortable and clean. The cottage was extremely well situated for what we wanted. The ironing board was missing but the owner, Neil, very quickly delivered one to us.

Cons: The steps up into the gravelled area and down into the kitchen made it difficult for a 65 year old - would definitely suit younger, fitter people.
