Pros: The property was a lovely quiet location and retreat, nobody bothered us and we had a welcomed rest. The property was beautiful and so clean and had all the kitchen utensils we could have needed to cook, and was so well equipped.

Cons: We have no complaints at all, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay, if there was any small thing it would be a more comfy sofa to relax on as we spent so much time at the property, and a bigger shower cubicle.

Cons: Connectivity was not good, but then who wants to be connected on holiday

Pros: Before arrival host kindly sent lots of useful info including from directions to wifi password , what is included/requested etc so i had zero questions when I arrived :) Bread, tea, coffee. milk, butter - All great :) Bed was super comfy and had best sleep after a long time Location beautiful and close proximity to the places we wanted to visit Apartment was so cosy and cute We loved and enjoyed every second of it. Thank you so much!

We said we wouldn't want to leave when we arrived and we were right!

Pros: Barn conversion was very homely. Good communication before and during our stay. Setting is so peaceful and quiet. Lovely seating area at back of barn. Good tv and nice selection of channels. Alexander a useful amenity. Ripon, Fountains Abbey, Ampleforth Abbey, York and Thirsk were handy trips out and close at hand. Pubs close but we enjoyed nights in rather than travelling. Welcome pack nice touch. We said we wouldn't want to leave when we arrived and we were right.

Cons: Shower a bit fragile but instant visit from owner to sort it. No physical folder of information. Online wasn't as comprehensive. Nice to have info in writing.

Lovely location, with thoughtful finishing touches. Would stay here again!

Pros: The property is in a beautiful, quiet location. The host Jamie, has lovingly converted the barn into two separate apartments. Where he has kept original features like the stonework in the bedroom. The bed is large & super comfortable.

Cons: Only slight downside was when you’re led in bed & the upstairs neighbours flushed the toilet, it sounded like a bucket of water was being poured over your head!

Pros: Great location. Quiet and close to where we wanted to be, on the edge of the dales. The sheep were a nice bonus.
