Cosy Cottage

Pros: The cottage is so cosy. It is very clean and homely with a wonderful log burner. Grewethorpe is a pretty village and an ideal base for exploring North Yorkshire. We enjoyed a meal at The White Bear and Sunday lunch at The King's Head in Masham and would recommend both. We would definitely return.

Great rural retreat

Pros: Lovely little cottage well equipped very comfy bed and pillows great log burner warmed the whole place woodland area at the back of the cottage so perfect for dog owners..15 min drive into ripon for the main shops/supermarkets

Cons: The local pub and only pub in the village was closed due to refurbishment

Our stay was very comfortable and the cottage was the perfect retreat after a hard days touring.

Pros: Location is beautiful and very central to all the areas we wanted to visit.

Cons: Nothing could have made our stay any better, it was spot on.

Beautiful cottage in lovely location with everything you could need

Pros: The location was beautiful - a typical Yorkshire village but close enough to places of interest such as Fountains Abbey. Perfect hosts - lots of information provided and great facilities including decent cooking utensils

Cons: Nothing - it was beautiful. We couldn’t get the hot water to heat downstairs despite switching on the immersion but that may have been human error. We used a kettle to wash up which was no hardship!

Perfect

Pros: The cottage is in a lovely village, just 10 minutes drive from Ripon and a couple of miles from the beautiful Dales village of Masham. Stunning scenery all around and some wonderful walks.
