Chapel Cottage with Log Burner (Dog Friendly)

Pros: A spur of the moment Sunday morning decision to spend a couple of nights in the Dales and we were fortunate enough to see this cottage was available. Excellent location. A really cosy cottage with a huge comfortable bed. Everything you need for a great stay in Hawes.

Cons: There's nothing to dislike about this cottage

Pros: Place was really nice, bed extremely comfortable. Lovely fore place and close to many walks and pubs

Gorgeous cosy cottage

Pros: I liked everything. Location - it's right next to all the pubs and shops. It's clean, the rooms are spaceous, the beds are comfortable. The log burner is such a good idea in the winter, it makes it so cosy, especially with the furry carpet at the front. Definitely coming back, it's become a favourite spot now for sure.

Great stay

Pros: Beautiful cottage in the middle of Hawes. Very clean with comfortable beds.

Cons: Parking spot is tight, but we appreciated being able to park next to the property

Pros: Location is great and the cottage is faultless. Has everything you need, very clean, and the beds are so big and so so comfortable

Pros: Location, comfortable beds, clean. Nice big bedrooms. Kitchen well equipped and modern.

Cons: Being very picky - the fluffy rug in living area. Being a dog friendly cottage it was not really practical. But easily removed whilst we were there.

Pros: The bedrooms were large and the beds were huge and comfortable.

Fab cottage in the middle of Hawes - very comfortable and well equipped

Pros: Easily accessed lockbox with code being sent to us well in advance of stay

Cons: Not a complaint by any means as car parking is at a premium at this location ….. but, the private parking space is small and very tight to access - we struggled to park with a LR Defender 90 (the old type !). Maybe a note on the property description will help manage expectations in case future visitors need to park elsewhere.

A very cosy cottage which is beautifully done out.

Pros: Fantastic location in Hawes. Very close to town centre.

Cons: For 4 adults it could do with another chair.

Charming English cottage well located in a bustling village.

Pros: Great location in a sweet village, dog friendly, cottage had a lovely English charm, comfortable, on site parking. Nearby to Wensleydale Creamery.

Cons: Shower knobs were temperamental. Not always easy to get the shower operating properly. Hot water tap in bathroom basin got too hot to touch and the tap was loose.
