Cosy cottage in great location

Pros: Great location in village, very close to all amenities. Very comfortable, well appointed cottage. Had everything we needed for a long weekend away.

Enjoyable, comfortable base for a break in lovely, easily accessible walking country

Pros: Well situated. Comfortable. Well provided for. Easy access to village facilitated.

Cons: No sense of personal contact with owner. Cooking pans needed obvious renewal. (Non stick surfaces all worn - which has negative implications for health). Didn’t find a welcome pack. Parking space was not available throughout.

A cosy, romantic and wonderful experience.

Pros: Situation, character, decor, facilities, cleanliness, warmth, Xmas tree. We were very touched by the courtesy Xmas gift, tree and decorations.

Cons: Key box quite small and low down and directly under leaky guttering with a waterfall literally splashing on and around one's head. Unlocking on arrival and locking on departure was the singularly most stressful aspect of our stay!

Perfect little cosy cottage in excellent location

Pros: Perfect location right in the middle of Hawes. Very cute cottage, Nest heating meant it was always cosy with plenty of hot water.

Cons: It’s a v big window and people walking past peer in! A sheer blind might be a nice idea for some people

Home from home in the centre of Hawes

Pros: This is our 3rd stay . Everything you need for a comfortable, relaxed stay. Right in the centre of Hawes, but down a quiet alley. Plenty of walks from your door. Just perfect.

Home from home

Pros: Right in the centre of Hawes, this is an excellent place for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. Clean and tidy small cottage and comfy beds. Our 2nd visit and will definitely return.

Cons: Clean, cosy and comfortable.
