Comfortable stay in great location

Pros: Location is brilliant, cottage is comfortable and having the extra parking is great particularly if you have a bigger car.

Lovely house in a perfect location.

Pros: Location was perfect, extremely convenient. House was comfortable (especially the bed!). Everything we needed was provided. Easy to access the house.

Cons: The shower was a bit temperamental with the temperature and the toilet often did not fill up once it was flushed.

Pros: Comfy beds and great location to walk into Hawes and around Gayle.

Cons: The postcode didn't take us to the location and it took ages to find the place. Ask for better directions!

Pros: Comfortable home from home, idea base to explore, the surroundings area, or just relax, just walk to Hawes.

Cons: It did not include Gayle in the address. My satnav took me to a place some 400 yards away, and seeing a sign from Gayles mislead me to believe I had missed the house when it about 400 yards passed the Gayle sign, found it with the help of an operator at the end of phone number in the email

Dale View is a very good property/parking, close Hawes, where we felt welcomed.

Pros: The property's name lived up to the View, you can see the local Church and beyond that the majestic hill of the Dale. This helped, as you could easily see the weather conditions at the start of the day.

Cons: Could do with a can opener and some egg cups.

Comfortable, compact house close to local amenities and yards from the Pennine Way path.

Pros: Quiet street about 300 metres from Main Street with off street parking. Clean, comfortable beds and general furnishings which appear recent. Well equipped kitchen and a small enclosed area overlooking a river. The owner was responsive by email to any information we sought. The property was an ideal base for exploring the local area as well as multiple walks to suit every ability.

Cons: The post code in Google maps shows a different set of houses about 150 yards away opposite the creamery/cheese factory.

Pros: Great location, close to everything (a short walk away) still quiet though - ecerything we needed was catered for!

Cons: Probably not the property owners fault but the mapping feathure on Booking.com sends you to the wrong property
