Comfortable cottage view at back amazing

Pros: Location, availability of parking, comfort, provision of cooking equipment and utensils were all excellent.View of river at back is amazing

Amazing week away in the great outdoors

Pros: Location was brilliant and the river at the back was amazing - I’m missing the sound already. The beds were amazingly comfortable - we want to know where the pillows are from!

Cons: The kitchen could do with a deep clean E.g floor, front of appliances

A lovely place , lovely views and good central location.

Pros: Lovely central place central for Hawes and Gayle hence lovely walks . The place was warm cosy , clean the only downside ( if any ) our dog has no recall and we presumed the rear patio area would be closed off but it wasn’t and the passage way didn’t have a gate on either end so we ended up trying to block it off with the bin and chairs no ideal maybe just needs mentioning for folk like us that has a dog like this other than that all was great 👍🏻

Cons: As I said the open patio with no secured area as next door has was a disappointment as our dog would have given chance been off , so possibly a gate at the end of the passageway near the front of the houses , surely this would give more security too ?

Enjoyed our stay very much the house is clean and in a great location.

Pros: Bed comfortable. Log burner. Tidy and clean. Easy parking and short walk to Hawes. The beck out the back was tremendous.

Cons: Shower was poor and rain came in around the letterbox and wet the hall carpet. Guttering at the back needs cleaning out.

Pros: Absolutely beautiful cottage, felt so at home as soon as we arrived. In a great location, only a 10 minute walk to the local shops and pubs. Just up the road from the cheese factory as well. The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed, would definitely stay again :)

Great place - would happily stay there again.

Pros: Location is absolutely brilliant. To simply open the curtains in the bedrooms or living area you are greeted with wonderful views of the old mill and little stream. You can also easily see the town of Hawes. I also went for an early morning walk along the trail that runs alongside the stream and then into the back of the old church before getting into the main street of Hawes and this was so nice. It's also just down from the wonderful Wensleydale Creamery so overall it's a great location. The property is also very well fitted out, quite spacious and comfy. It even had a washing machine which we were glad to use.

Cons: When we arrived it was dark and a bit damp. We struggled for a bit to find it and when we did it was difficult to enter the key box code in the dark. Recommend to anyone getting there when dark to bring a torch.
