Quarry Cottage near Hawes

Amazing Cottage perfect for a get away..

Pros: Absolutely wonderful cottage with everything you need for a relaxing break away. The hosts messaged prior to arrival and the cottage itself is beautiful and to a very high standard. We would recommend this and hope to stay again. Exceptional cottage, cosy and we were so happy with everything. It exceeded expectations with a log burner and complementary logs. Amazing thank you.

Cons: Nothing apart from we had to leave!

Comfortable, warm, snug cottage

Pros: Nice cosy little cottage suitable for two people. Bed was very comfortable with lovely bedlinen. Kitchen was well equipped and the living area was very comfortable with the option to have the wood burner alight although it was plenty warm enough anyway. Shower was great with plenty of hot water

Cons: Nothing to dislike except that the main bed is a four poster without curtains and my husband hit his head several times on the sides as he is tall. That was the only thing that was not so good. A normal bed frame would have served just as well !

Excellently appointed peaceful cottage.

Pros: This self catering cottage has everything you need for a cosy stay in the dales. A key requirement for me when travelling for work is WiFi and this cottage has great WiFi. The cottage is modern inside with a well laid out and equipped kitchen. Everything was there that I needed and good quality. Instructions on how to use everything were provided and I can't fault a thing. Bathroom shower great. Heating great. Cleanliness great. Bed confortable. Large flat screen smart TVs in the lounge and master bedroom. Lovely little yard. Sooo peaceful. I will definitely stay again if it's available.

Cons: Parking is a short walk up the hill but you can park in front of the cottage for loading and unloading.

Fine Quality, amazing wievs and lots of fresh air.

Pros: Fine Quality of the house and everything in it. We had no contact at all with the owner, but he had left every information, that we needed, so no problem. Not possible to park outside the house, but near by, so no problem. Lots of fresh air and interesting footpaths in the area, and the owner had left valuable informations about, where the best footpaths are.

Burtersmeet was an Expected Treat

Pros: We loved that the cottage is in a fabulous location, with hills and superb views all around, and the cottage itself is just 'what the doctor ordered'. It's like my own house, 'proud, welcoming, happy, and spotlessly clean'. On closing the door on the final day, I'm sure I heard the door say \

Comfortable and cosy in very easy reach of Hawes and the surrounding Dales.

Pros: This is our second stay in Quarry Cottage and it was every bit as good as our first visit a few months ago. The cottage is comfortable and well furnished. Everything feels new and is well looked after and clean. We love all the little touches in this cottage that make our visit special, Dales themes ornaments and crockery, little fairly lights, books and information about the area. Very comfy beds and a great power shower. We didn't really use the kitchen apart from the fridge but is all looks clean and new. A great place to stay with fan hosts who respond to any messages very quickly.

Cons: The property adjoining was being worked on and was a bit noisy but not the fault of the cottage. The lady across the road was quite grumpy about us parking even though it was only for a few minutes to unpack. Non of this the fault of Quarry Cottage and there was not anything we didn't like. Love the place and hope to be back again soon.
