Probably the best holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in.

Pros: This was my second stay at The Salt Pot after visiting in March. I cannot fault the cottage which is immaculately presented, very comfortable, extremely well equipped, cosy, and in a beautiful rural area. Rebecca and Alec have refitted the en-suite bathroom over the summer although personally I found nothing wrong with the original. The walk-in shower is very good and the sauna is a great way to relax after a day out walking. Would recommend for any solo traveller or couple.

Cons: Nothing to dislike.

The perfect week's stay. This is how holiday cottages should be.

Pros: I absolutely loved this cottage. It is a bit quirky but I liked that. Rebecca and Alec have put a lot of thought into the decoration, furnishing and equipment in the cottage and everything anyone could need is there. It is immaculately clean. I loved the wood-burner and the sauna was great after a long day of walking. There is good walking on the moors straight from the front door and Haworth and Oakworth are just a few minutes drive away. Very convenient for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. The phone signal is weak here but there is excellent wi-fi so internet calling and messaging is no problem. I have stayed in dozens of cottages over the years and The Salt Pot is probably the best of them all. I definitely recommend for a solo traveller or a couple.
