Anglers Cottage - Spacious Grade II Listed Cottage

Great cottage in beautiful location.

Pros: We stayed at the cottage for Christmas and it was beautifully decorated for the occasion. There is plenty of space downstairs and all bedrooms were lovely - no duff room like you sometimes get in properties catering for bigger numbers!The kitchen is well equipped - we cooked a huge Christmas dinner and had everything we needed - and the wood burner was a bonus at this time of year. Alina, who looks after the property, was so helpful and quick to respond to our queries making our stay really enjoyable.

Cons: Nothing - but we were disappointed that the pub had closed over the Christmas period! And some of the info in the guest book appeared to be out of date although we found all instruction manuals in the kitchen for appliances.

Pros: Lovely spacious cottage, a great place to base the family for a holiday in the glorious countryside.

Pros: Great location & enough room for the whole family combined with ample kitchen/seating for meals.

Cons: We struggled with what was effectively only one shower between 10 people as the “shower” on the roll top bath was not a viable option.

Really pleasant stay with lots of space for a large group

Pros: Property was very spacious, warm and cosy. Location was also good for us. A lot of character to the property and was in a rural but good location The service was outstanding when needing some support

Cons: Noisy road Small back yard -not really a garden - but easy options for walking the dog.

A great long weekend in a house with a lot of character .

Pros: A lovely house steeped in history. Great location and close to a pub for food and drinks. Great walk to Grassington from the doorstep. Well stocked kitchen and great to have 2 living rooms and a wood burning stove. Fetching wood and eggs from across the road was a pleasure.

Beautiful cottage in a stunning location with a very attentive host

Pros: This cottage really has the wow factor and is exceptionally well equipped, particularly in the beautiful kitchen. We took Australian visitors there and the space was ideal for a large group. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and gave easy access to Malham Cove and Kettlewell, which we loved. We thought we were going to be snowed in on the final morning and the cottage owner was superbly helpful, kind and highly responsive by text message. Deeply appreciated. Thank you for a perfect stay.
