Simply stunning

Pros: The location was simply beautiful, the cottage very much so too. The barn was subtle and exactly how we wanted it. The little treat were lovely.

A stunning and peaceful location.

Pros: We couldn’t have asked for a better location, sharing both properties with the family. The barn was large enough to accommodate us all at mealtimes and the weather was lovely to sit outside and take in the views. The children loved the large garden areas and toys to play with, whilst we appreciated the flowers, milk and delicious cake provided by the hosts.

Cons: A few spiders.

Had a lovely stay and would come back

Pros: Large comfy and very peaceful. Safe for children. Well equipped lovely views owners caring supportive but not overly pushy. Beds so comfy

Cons: Not been cleaned properly lots of old packets of crisps under settee toilet urine stains in en suite microwave very rusty

Would certainly return

Pros: The Barn was spacious and cosy. We all enjoyed the view and its location. The hosts were super hospitable with extra welcome tokens that made the whole experience even nicer. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay. Just fabulous.

Pros: Location was absolutely stunning. It was warm and spacious.

Cons: No black out blind so light woke us up early.

New Year Family get away

Pros: Fantastic value for money, two properties in a beautiful location. Great open space for cooking /dining Comfortable beds, good quality towels provided. Lovely touch with home baked bread/ cake left in each property. Good range of crockery/ utensils for cooking Good base to explore the area, we visited masham brewery, ice cream parlour with children's play area/ petting farm and easy access to North Allerton. Real Christmas in each property with baubles left for the children to decorate.

Cons: Water pressure was poor in kitchen/shower Sofas could do with updating in both properties

We would come back.

Pros: Very good stay. The cottage was spacious, well equipped and great selection of board games :). The host was very kind and contactable. The location had breathtaking views and provided choices of short walks or trips. I would come back if we visit the dales again.
