Fern Cottage - Cosy Dales Cottage in Nidderdale

Pros: The cottage is absolutely beautiful. It's situated in the middle of some lovely countryside. Two strides away from a friendly country pub. Nice comfy Bed's. Like home from home.

Pros: Location the property itself was beautifully set out lovely furniture great feeling to it.

Pros: Loads of tea and coffee, shampoo and soap. The cottage is really warm. Ideal location for lots of walks from the doorstep. Good value for money.

Pros: We were so impressed with the quality of the furnishings and choice of decor, it felt really luxurious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and felt at home. The location is so charming and was everything we imagined for a weekend in The Dales. Neil was very accommodating and the free prosecco on arrival was very appreciated! We are looking to book for a week over the summer and can’t wait to come back for another relaxing stay.

Cons: Nothing! The only down side is there is no enclosed garden for a dog, but I feel this is reflected in the price which we thought was excellent value for money

Superb stay in this gem of a cottage!

Pros: Lovely cottage in an excellent location in the middle of a small village in Nidderdale. The place was decorated and furnished to a very high standard and contained everything you could possibly wish for in a self-catering cottage including tea, coffee, sugar and milk on arrival plus an added bonus of chocolates and a bottle of prosecco - nice touch. We had a very enjoyable stay in this gem of a cottage - would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Nidderdale.

Cons: All was fine and dandy!

Perfect for a cosy stay in a beautiful part of Yorkshire.

Pros: The location was perfect for walks and peace and quiet. The cottage was super cosy and had everything we could have needed. Felt very comfortable, everything was lovely and clean. It was a bonus that the beds are King sized, with plenty of storage in all rooms. TV & WiFi connection better than home! Super Cafe a short walk away at How Stean Gorge, fantastic walk at the Scar reservoir just up the road plus lots to do around and about. Really should have stayed longer, as there was so much we didn't do and more to see.

Cons: The one and only thing was the springs in the mattress were a bit noisy, a mattress topper would probably help dampen that out, but the bed was very comfy. It was perfect for a stay in a beautiful part of Yorkshire.

Comfortable and well-equipped cottage for a family stay

Pros: Cottage was very comfortable and clean, well furnished and equipped to a very high standard. Great location for walks to Middlemoor and Scar House Reservoir. Excellent hosts, very communicative. Instructions were spot on for finding the cottage.

It was so enjoyable.

Pros: The property was so clean and well maintained. Everything that someone visiting would need was available. The owners left us also gifts, which was a very thoughtful touch.

Pros: Beautiful cosy cottage in an excellent location Lots of space for a family and a lovely little sun trap at the front of the cottage for your morning coffee. Would highly recommend.
