Pros: Lovely location for a Christmas get together. The cottage was lovely and clean with everything needed for a great stay. We even made a full Christmas lunch with all the trimmings in the well equipped kitchen. The dishwasher was worth it's weight in gold. Bedrooms lovely with very comfy beds. The cottage was warm and cosy even though it' was very cold and windy outside. A great pub with a very welcoming landlord and locals. All in all a very good stay. Would recommend to anyone.

Second time we’ve stayed and we’ll be back

Pros: Spacious, we were a party of 4 adults and 3 dogs. Very clean. Kitchen well stocked with crockery, pans etc. Beds are comfortable. Plenty of hot water and heating easy to use. A lovely house.

Pros: Lovely property with everything you need for a family holiday

Cons: It was at least an hour from most attractions e.g malham, York and takeaways were quite a way. We hadn’t realised when booking. This did not spoil our holiday

Beautiful family get away

Pros: Very spacious and beautiful home - the family and kids loved it and the location was stunning

Cons: Very windy but on top of a hill in the middle of the Yorkshire Dales so as expected! - perfect house for a short stay

Perfect getaway

Pros: Location was stunning. The house was really comfortable and we loved the kitchen/diner/loving room layout and spent most of our time in there. The dishwasher was a great bonus. We also had full signal and WiFi! 10 min drive to scar house reservoir which is absolutely breathtaking! The local pub had lovely food too!

Cons: You don't have any view at all and thought the garden could've been made prettier. Just two ladders in the court yard which you look out onto wasn't very exciting.
