Perfect hideaway

Pros: Very secluded location, in an elevated position with views across the valley. Comfortable and charmingly decorated with all necessary items.

Cons: Difficult to locate in amongst the other dwellings and parking was tricky.

Only booked for 4 days. Wish I’d stayed the full week. Or two.

Pros: Very clean. Homely and comfortable. Felt straight at home. Kitchen was excellent. Well equipped. Comfortable beds. Slept well. Location was superb. Centre of the village. Great views Absolutely loved the front terrace and seating. Weather was good spent a lot of time sitting in the sun.

Cons: Parking at the back was impossible. No space. Not marked Harriet’s cottage. Had to ask someone for directions But the lay-by in front was OK for parking. The front door was difficult to find. Instructions could be better. Only

Idyllic location for a Dales holiday

Pros: Cosy cottage in the heart of the village. Pub, shop and tea room literally on the doorstep. The cottage was well appointed. Lovely and warm, with a good sized kitchen with plenty of equipment, utensils to cook a hearty meal. Spoilt for choice with walking options from the cottage. All in all an idyllic location for a Dales holiday.

Cons: Bath taps could do with some attention, but a minor issue which didn't affect the overall quality of the holiday.
