Wonderful house!

Pros: Gorgeous house, amazing bedrooms all of an excellent size with en-suites and lovely surroundings!

Cons: Thicker duvets and comfier mattresses.

Great weekend away

Pros: Spacious house. Each bedroom having ensuite is excellent. Kitchen well equipped and great location with pub and cafe nearby. Loved our weekend here.

Cons: Nothing - didn't attempt to park in designated parking opting for on road instead.

Pros: great location at the heart of the village. shop and 2 x pubs within 100m. House was large enough for our party of 4 couples.

Cons: A welcome pack would have been a nice touch. No oven gloves or dish sponges.

Gorgeous house, lovely trip

Pros: Gorgeous house and incredible to have four generously sized ensuite bathrooms in lovely double rooms. The kitchen in particular and the house generally are stunning. The huge garden is so undersold with no pics, but it's like a tidied, pretty expanse of enclosed countryside. Great location on the edge of a beautiful village with good pubs a few doors away.

Cons: Constant hammering with messages from Host & Stay from booking and throughout our trip. But as soon as the booking ended mine reminding them about urgent repairs for future guests (leaking bathroom ceiling plus broken oven) were automatically rejected. Had to find an alternative email address on the website and then I was dismissed with a yes we already know about the leak (my husband had reported it on the phone the day before) but no acknowledgement on the oven. Also parking at the house itself is very tricky and we opted for a side street nearby instead.

We enjoyed local walks and a trip to Northallerton and we would book it again and highly recommend it.

Pros: The location is perfect with three pubs to choose from for dinner. Amazing property with huge bedrooms and bathrooms. So much space internally and externally. Cannot fault the property at all.

Pros: The property is beautiful, large and spacious with an amazing garden. We all loved the 4 bed 4 bath set up, and very comfortable dining and lounge areas.

Cons: Would just say, the fridge was leaking, but a larger fridge would certainly benefit the property given its size and occupancy. There was a kick plate loose in the kitchen and no toilet roll in the ground floor loo. Can I also suggest some additional garden furniture would be the icing on the cake. All a bit ‘picky’ I know but just telling you what could make it even better.

Pros: Lovely property and spacious for a group of people.

Cons: Parking for more than one car not possible. Property has a log burner but not even a small welcome starter pack to be able to use it, would be nice to have had one. A proper house manual rather than the online one would be preferred as then everyone in the party can access it rather than just the person who booked it. Kitchen had most things but odd things like a large mixing bowl would be nice.
