A peaceful, pleasant bolthole, great for visiting the north york moors, doing the Lyke wake walk

Pros: Kindly host, cake & milk & basics supplied on arrival, very clean, well equipped, quiet location & perfectly located for all that we wanted to do. Golden Lion local pub does great food & friendly service. Handy for doing the Lyke Wake Walk.

Very comfortable stay we will be back

Pros: Although the accommodation is compact it is very comfortable and we didn’t feel we needed anything more. Everything is so well designed and Ann has everything you need for a self catering stay. Great welcome treats much appreciated. Only a few minutes walk from the bars and cafe of the village. We would not hesitate to book again.

Cons: Being very picky but would have preferred an ironing board than the ironing mat but we managed.
