Very good place to charge your batteries

Pros: The property was very clean and tidy. Good location for people with pets , we highly recommend this cottage and we will be definitely back. Very good value for the money ! We were welcomed with basket with wine, homemade cake and chutney and milk and cheese in fridge. So nice and sweet. Thank you for making our stay so warm. And as a bonus, there is a local pub not even a minute walk away with very lovely people working there.

Perfect weekend break

Pros: Cottage was clean on arrival and the welcome pack was a lovely thoughtful treat. Cottage was comfy and welcoming. It was well equipped and parking just outside. The central location in the village and a short walk from the village pub with good selection of beers and excellent food. Hosts very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend the cottage and envisage another return.

Cons: Excellent cottage nothing we didn't like.

Cons: When we arrived the heating wasn't on so it took awhile for the cottage to warm up

Home from home very cosy

Pros: Extremely homely the owners went above and beyond to decorate the cottage for our Christmas stay including some gifts of baskets with goodies in . Would highly recommend this beautiful cosy cottage in a lovely village setting.

Lovely cottage in Yorkshire Dale

Pros: We liked our welcome gift, location, cleanness and basically everything. Would highly recommend it. Would like to mention about the kitchen equipment- excellent, everything you need for cooking!

Fabulous place, would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a great base to explore Wensleydale.

Pros: Loved the attention to detail in facilities provided and the welcome basket was a pleasant surprise.

Cons: It was a little too overlooked for us with windows on all 3 sides directly onto the high street pavement outside less than a metre away.

Fabulous Christmas Break

Pros: Location is fabulous, property is very comfortable and has everything needed. Highly recommend, would love to stay again. Additional touches by host were lovely too, very thoughtful.

Cons: Wi-Fi was weak, unable to connect most of the stay but was not a problem for us as this was a hiking holiday
