Lovely base to explore the surrounding area and recharge the batteries.

Pros: Property was clean, warm and comfortable. Located in a friendly village. The house contained everything we needed.

Cons: Parking was a little tricky. Lack of wifi made communication difficult especially with intermitting phone reception.

A thoroughly pleasant stay in this comfortable cottage

Pros: Sweet Pea Cottage is lovely - really comfortable and in a fabulous part of the Dales. This was my second visit (I liked it so much last time, that I came back!), and we had some fabulous walks - including to Bolton Castle, Carperby and Aysgarth Falls, and also visited Hawes (and while there, Hardraw Force and the Wensleydale Creamery), also visited Richmond (and the Castle), and Fountains Abbey. I ran out of week again, so may have to return!

Cons: The only thing that would have made this even better would be WiFi in the cottage. On my previous visit, we were directed towards the local pub for WiFi, but the pub is permanently closed at the moment, so that wasn't an option. However, the lack of WiFi was stated when I booked, so I was aware.
