We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would visit again

Pros: Well equipped and suitable for 6 adults Great location

Cons: If you have nervous dogs they may be affected by the gunfire/practices at the nearby garrison

A great experience, and we will be back

Pros: Fantastic, quiet location. Excellent lodge design & layout. Quality fixtures & fittings.

Cons: Our only gripe would be limited kitchen storage for shopping. We had to keep most of it in bags as all cupboards full.

Family get together

Pros: Lovely setting, the lodge was comfortable and had everything we needed for self catering. There are ample walks around the site, most are accessible for even the unfittest though the short walk back up the hill to the lodge was quite steep. Only took about 10 minutes to drive into Richmond

Cons: There was no view from Lodge 17 despite the blurb. Trees and bushes blocked all but a tiny bit of the beautiful view which was disappointing but the large number of rabbits and birds visiting us made up in some part for that. The beds are very comfortable but also very low which anyone with a disability might find difficult
