Lovely place with a bus stop right outside the property made transport to York very easy

Pros: Clean and tidy on arrival, plenty of crockery and toilet roll

Cons: Minimal amount of washing up liquid, no cooking oil, only one bath towel for each person which we didn't believe was enough for 4 nights. Also one tea towel, floor towel and hand towel is not very hygienic. The stool next to the dresser was missing screws and in danger of collapse, the tables in the living room were very wobbly. The shower curtain was difficult to use

Excellent

Pros: The house was excellent, it was immaculate, very modern and had everything we needed. There was a bus stop directly outside the house, it is in a residential area which was very quiet. I would definitely book this property again.

Cons: There was nothing to fault about the property.

Comfortable and beautifully decorated house within 30 min walk ior 10 min bus) into city centre

Pros: Very clean Really nicely decorated and equipped Everything you could possibly need Good communication Very comfortable Well thought through property with lots of safe lighting Nice garden Location is within 30 mins walk from city centre, no6 bus to city right outside house Parking straightforward

Cons: The owners have done everything within their control to make this property the best it can be. They’ve done a great job. The downsides had less impact than we initially thought and are out of their control: you can’t park on the drive, the bus stop queue is right outside the house and the house / garden / drive next door isn’t looking great.

Very comfortable

Pros: Location was good with a bus stop outside the gate for getting to the city

Cons: TV was very difficult to operate so couldn’t use it

Pros: Location great. with Bus stop straight outside with regular buses going into the city Nice modern house decorated very nice. great space for the 5 of us.

Cons: on our last night the house was really cold. we tried to put the heating on etc as we had the previous night etc but this time it just wouldn't connect i don't know if it is controlled by the host etc. but as it was the last night we just got on with it. but just the colder months soon hopefully it was just a clitch.

Well equipped tidy modern renovated house

Pros: Outskirts of city so relatively easy to access Bus stop outside Facilities close by

Cons: Couldn’t use the off road parking bay but this didn’t effect us as off road parking very close by

Pros: Very clean, plenty of space, close to amenities, modern feel.

Cons: Bathroom bin wasn’t emptied but not an issue.

Pros: Really modern, newly decorated house with all facilities you could need. Nice outdoor space with table, chairs and lawn area. 30 minutes walk to the city centre plus local shops nearby.

Property/ rooms look just like the pictures. Would definitely stay again.

Pros: Lovely house, smooth check in. Clear instructions provided by host, spotlessly clean. Well equipped with everything you need. Very good location, with a Sainsburys local and a Heron foods about 3 minutes walk away, and a bus stop right in front of the house. Approx 20 min walk to town.

Cons: No problems, but a suggestion of maybe an Air freshener in bathroom and an extra tea towel.

Very Clean, Good Value stay

Pros: Very clean house, well hosted with good information and plenty of basics provided. Control of the thermostat was much appreciated given how cold the weather was when we first arrived. Shower was powerful and bedding of a good quality.

Cons: The one toilet being in the bathroom was something that we took some getting used to with there being 5 of us, and it felt like it was a bit too far out to walk into town regularly, but the property is cheaper than others we considered and a bus stop is right outside so on balance I think the price reflected these things and we were very happy with our choice.
