Walking cottage in fantastic spot

Pros: We loved our stay here. Communication with the owners gave us most of the info we needed and they were very friendly and helpful. The location and view from the cottage are incredible. Right on the Pendle way. It was easy to check in. The cottage was lovely and warm. We felt it was good value for what we wanted. We would definitely recommend to small, quiet groups looking to get away and go walking.

Cons: The kitchen and bathrooms weren't very well stocked for a group of six. E.g. could've done with more cups and glasses. Roosters rest isn't signposted from the road and is noted as Pendle Cottages on Google maps. Layout wasn't very cosy for a group of six, making it feel a bit thrown together. Signage seemed to be out of date and the info book didn't have the key info we needed in it (what to do on checkout).
