Lovely House and Landlady

Pros: Lovely house, decorated to a great standard without looking like a show home. Comfortable beds, excellent appliances. The landlady was very nice when messaging. Good range of coffee and tea, and had provided dishwasher/washing machine capsules. Provided fire sticks enabled easy entertainment without having to set up our own stuff.

Cons: My only (minor) complaint is that it would be better if the house could be warmed before arrival. It was freezing when we arrived and took about 2 hours to warm up, although I do appreciate that it's to save on wasted energy.

A wonderful stay in a wonderful house.

Pros: Every aspect of the property was perfect. Any necessary instructions (heating etc) were very clear and explicit. The owners made it clear to us that they were readily available should we have any queries. My partner and I had a totally stress-free wonderful time.

Would definitely stay again.

Pros: This is our 3rd stay at the property which is in a great location for visiting family. Everything we needed was there. The beds were comfy.

Great if you're not an EV user

Pros: Location was very close to Leeds, giving great access by car. The house itself was well presented, clean and tidy throughout. I'd highly recommend this as a stay for non-EV travellers.

Cons: I didn't like the fact that the EV rules were changed after we had already arrived on location. This misrepresented the property facilities, and contravened trading standards around what was actually available. It was originally advertised when we booked as having EV charging, but it actually just had an outdoor 3 pin plug. Secondly, 2 hours after our arrival, and 4-5 hours after our official checking in time the owner got in touch to say she was now charging for the electric. We don't mind paying but be upfront about it in the first place so we can budget for it. This is why I wouldn't recommend this place for EV users.

Pros: Spacious, modern, clean and in a really nice quiet area

Cons: Is it possible to have curtains at the kitchen to add privacy?

Home from Home

Pros: The house was like a home from home. Had all the things we needed. Lots of lovely touches that made it feel special.

Home from home. Comfy, spacious and in a great location.

Pros: Ideal location for us to meet up with family members. We’ve stayed at this property before so we knew the layout and how spacious it was for us.

Pros: The decor and facilities in the property were lovely and provided a perfect place to stay for the night for our budget, as a band playing in Leeds it more than met my expectations. It seemed to be located in a quiet part of the estate and the folks we met on the road seemed nice. Would definitely consider staying here again. Easy to get a taxi in to town in about 12 mins. Spotless and comfy with a nice kitchen to sit in and luxurious living room.
