Overall, we had a fabulous stay in a lovely cottage set in a brilliant location.

Pros: The property was clean and had practically everything we needed. It was set in an ideal location to explore everything Skipton had to offer. The private parking space was a bonus. We were also made to feel very welcome on our arrival with a card and some treats. Neighbours were friendly and happy to offer advice on places to go in the town. I would highly recommend.

Cons: The only thing I could mention was the fact the it was not possible to access normal TV channels on the TV. However this was not a problem as we were not there to watch TV. A radio would have been nice.

Perfect for a week's family holiday

Pros: Beautiful cottage in the perfect location, we loved our stay and were very comfortable staying here as a family of four including two young children. Amenities at close hand, the cottage was everything we wanted for a week visiting extended family and friends.

Homely cottage

Pros: The cottage was homely, nicely decorated with a modern twist but still felt like an old cottage. Well equipped with everything you may need and perfectly situated with friendly neighbours. Although near the high street you would never know it as very quiet in a cobbled courtyard. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay, can’t wait to return.

Pros: Perfect location just off of the high street on one side and the canal with walks and pubs on the other but very peaceful when sitting outside.

Cons: There are no negatives, a lovely home from home.

Flat Cap Cottage, Skipton.

Pros: The location couldn't have been better: right in the heart of Skipton, and with free parking, too! Flat Cap Cottage is a home from home, and perfect for our family of four with teenagers. Personally, I don't think the photographs truly fully capture how beautiful this cottage is - we don't want to leave! It's a gem of a place and we will be back. Thanks to the hosts for the thoughtful welcome pack - it was much appreciated.

Cons: I have nothing negative to say about Flat Cap Cottage!
