Skipton at Six

A pleasant stay

Pros: The location was perfect. A 10 minute walk into the town centre and all amenities.

Cons: It sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms and bed settee in front room. However, the second bedroom beds were not made up. We booked as 2 adults, however I would have thought all beds would have been made up to use. It does state to mention if you want extra beds making up but you shouldn't have to do this since you are booking a house that accommodates 6 people. Also they have outdoor cameras at the front of house and back of house. It doesn't tell you anywhere about these cameras. The front camera was dry turned on as came on when motion activated. I'm not sure if the back was on as didn't justice any lights on it. I feel this is an invasion of privacy. I understand if no one is using the house, the need for cameras but should be turned off when someone is using house and told they were being recorded

Pros: Good location. Tea, coffee & milk supplied which was an unexpected bonus.

The house was home from home, and very close to the town.

Pros: The house was located in easy access to the town. Clean, spacious. Comfy beds and everything you possibly need. Excellent communication with hosts.

Pros: It was like a home from home. Lovely furniture, beautifully presented, a fab basket of things - including treats - for our pooch. It was lovely and clean, the beds were comfy and it was in a great location.

Cons: There was only one really small thing we all thought would be good to have. A lock on the main bathroom door. There was a lock but no key?

Pros: The high level of equipment in the kitchen, comfortable seating and beds.

Pros: So much space. Really well maintained. Close to the centre of town.

Pros: The property was beautifully presented, well equipped and spotlessly clean (and smelled lovely!). Claire and Richard were perfect hosts, providing clear instructions and leaving thoughtful little extras for us. The bed was very comfortable. All in all it felt like a home from home. The location was in a quiet street within 10 minutes walk of the centre of Skipton.
