Pros: What a beautiful place. Lovely self contained unit, thoughtfully presented, comfortable beds. A wonderful homely place to stay. Will recommend highly to everyone we know.

Cons: We liked everything, but if you do not like bird noise, then this unfortunately is not for you!

Pros: Beautiful spacious cottage in an idyllic setting. All you could ask for. Very helpful owners. Loved listening to the parrots each morning and watching the birds in the garden. Ours was a very short stay to attend a family gathering near by but would definately return another stay.

Pros: Lovely. Calm, Cosy and clean. Private secure garden perfect for our dog. Tracks around the farm fields provided a lovely place to dog walk. Loved the parrot sanctuary next door very interesting.

Lovely, clean and comfortable cottage.

Pros: Lovely, clean and, comfortable cottage. Very well equipped and very warm!! Great location on the farm and very easy to get to. Loved the parrots and the horses. The dog loved the garden! A very enjoyable weekend break. Highly recommend.

Pros: Very comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely extra touches like toiletries and bath robes. Good base from which to explore and it’s a lovely area. Parrots are fascinating!

A very enjoyable stay and beautiful place to celebrate New Year.

Pros: Beautiful stay in an amazingly beautiful property in peaceful surroundings. Equipped with everything needed and furnished to a very high standard. Close to several lovely towns but also close to stunning countryside for walking. Fantastic secure garden for the dogs too.

Pros: What a beautiful place, great for relaxing, or close to Thirsk, Ripon, Northallerton if you want to have a trip out. The cottage is so cosy, and everything you need is there. The little shop on site is a great feature, and the shepherd huts look amazing. Our dog loved the garden (completely secure, as he's a houdini) so he could run around, and he loved the parrots, the hosts run a parrot sanctuary too. Beautiful place, lovely people, we will be returning again soon. Thank you

Beautiful place to rest and relax

Pros: The location and site was lovely. Nice and quiet. The bird sanctuary and aviary was awesome and lovely. The accommodation was fantastic, spacious for a couple. Everything we needed was there. A nice enclosed garden for our dogs
