Pros: Beautiful cottage and the location was stunning. Loved that you were in the countryside but then only 10 mins from Thirsk centre. Kids loved the animals , and the little touches such as the mince pies, prosecco, milk and lovely xmas decor just made it extra special. We left an item behind and the staff have been so helpful with us, making arrangements to collect it. Thank you for a fabulous stay.

Pros: Spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Comfortable and homely accommodation. We particularly enjoyed our interaction with an escaped lamb as well as listening to the sheep in the morning and evening. It is a quiet and peaceful location, and a wonderful place to relax.

Cons: Not easy to find. One of the reasons we chose this was for the wet room. Sadly this was the only room that proved a disappointment in the whole house and we never used it, because it looked so unappealing. .The upstairs bath/shower wasn't the easiest to get in and out of for us older folk but would be no problem for younger fitter renters.
