Lavender Cottage

Exactly what we wanted for a short break. Spotlessly clean cosy cottage with log burner in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales

Pros: Immaculately presented lovely, quiet, cosy, very well-equipped cottage. Milk, Prosecco and a beautiful home made cake on arrival. Log wood burner plus excellent central heating. The cottage has been tastefully renovated to a very high standard. Exceptional!

Cons: Nothing to dislike…..could happily live here!

Compact, convenient and comfortable cottage.

Pros: Comfortable and tasteful accommodation. The double glazing was excellent sound proofing from the nearby road.

Cons: A knob on the bottom drawer in the second bedroom was not secure due to stripped thread. This will be easily remedied.

Relaxing break, comfortable accomodation in a quiet location, great for walking

Fantastic valentine's getaway

Pros: Absolutely fantastic stay, idealic location for beautiful walks! Directions and key pickup was very easy. The place was emaculate, very nicely decorated, bedrooms great, bathroom and shower pressure great, everything in the kitchen you could need. Supplied with cake, processco and plenty firewood for the log burner.

Cons: The only shame was that the local appears to have closed down in January, however, Grassington was within reasonable walking distance to head to some lovely pubs and restaurants.

Perfect cottage

Pros: The cottage is the best one we have ever stayed in. Everything in the cottage is of high quality. We stayed when the weather was freezing, so the wood burning stove made it really cosy. A fantastic location, just a mile from Grassington, but there is a pub opposite (unfortunately closed when we were there) and a very well-stocked Spar about 2 minutes walk. The welcome pack was much appreciated.

Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. It was perfect.

We enjoyed a fabulous stay in a beautiful home from home

Pros: It was warm, beautifully decorated and comfortable. The property was in a lovely location and a very good base for exploring the surrounding area. The host was very friendly and helpful, when we arrived there was a bottle of fizz in the fridge and a homemade chocolate cake in the kitchen which was a lovely touch. The cottage looked very festive with its brightly lit Christmas tree.

Absolutely brilliant, wish we had stayed longer.

Pros: The cottage itself is absolutely stunning. A quaint two bed cottage that has been maintained and furnished to a beautiful standard. Attention to detail fantastic and everything you could need to make this a temporary home from home is available. The location is stunning, right opposite the pretty village green, 40 second walk from the lovely Pub and gives easy access to roads, footpaths and walkways to the stunning Dales.

Cons: Nothing - the fact that we had to come home.

Pros: The cottage was charming, very clean and beautifully decorated. It was lovely to have a welcome of cake and Prosecco- thank you. Location was perfect for exploring the Dales.

Cons: The oven did not work. We contacted the host but no answer so left a message but she didn’t get back to us.
