2 Pines Farm Cottages

Lovely, comfortable , centrally placed property with most mod cons and equipment you would need

Pros: The cottage was provided with most conveniences that you would need , the WIFI was good and the tvs had netflix and you tube but you shouldn't need those as there was so much to do in the area , it being quite centrally placed. It had efficient heating central heating and was nice and cosy . The kitchen was also well equipped

Cons: The unmade road to access the property can be uncomfortable

A great place, will definitely go back

Pros: The property was huge, it certainly exceeded our expectations on this side of things. It was perfect for our occasion and just what we needed. We loved seeing the cows out in the field and loved being able to see them in the barn from one of the bedroom windows. Having 2 bathrooms in the property was a huge plus for our party of five too. The kitchen was huge and having a double range cooker was my dream! I was in my element cooking on this. I could have moved in and stayed permanently. The property was amazing and we'll certainly book again.

Cons: The only two things id change is....... The fridge as it was too small. We were a party of 5 adults staying 2 nights and we brought enough food for our 2 nights including breakfast and we really struggled to get it all in the small fridge. It left no room to chill a couple of beers/wine for everyone. For such a huge kitchen it would benefit from a tall larder fridge The other thing we'd add is fly nets to the doors. We really needed the doors / windows open with the heat but being on a farm meant we got loads of flies in the house. We 100% appreciate that with a farm comes flies, but a some fly screens at the doors would be amazing.

Relaxing stay in a very spacious cottage.

Pros: Lovely rural retreat. Very spacious with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and lounge. Plenty of parking as well. Very nice cooker / oven unit as well. All recycling clearly marked.

Cons: Long gravel/unpaved driveway. Not much you can do about it if you want a rural farm retreat.

Spacious cottage in a good location.

Pros: The cottage was very spacious and comfortable. Very quiet environment. Very well equipped throughout. Good location for visiting York and other attractions.

Cons: Tap water tasted unpleasant. The road to the cottage was unmade.

We enjoyed a very relaxing stay.

Pros: The self catering aspect. Spaciousness of the property - lovely! Country location. Being in the middle of a working farm suited us.

Cons: Nothing of great importance. Some microwave cookware would be useful.

Pros: Spacious, clean and in a great location. Had a great time with my wife and children. Perfect.

We loved our stay at the farm house. Our kids especially with all the cows.

Pros: The farm house was a great size for our family of 6. Everything was spotless.

Cons: Cleanliness and very relaxing

Rural

Pros: Farm location was lovely, cows and sheep visible from the cottage windows. Lovely airy, spacious kitchen and living room area.
