Lovely stay

Pros: Excellent location for visiting family. The property was very quite apart from all the building work going on next door. Had everything we needed but it would be better with a sofa a bit bigger. Garden was lovely.

Comfortable stay in quaint neighbourhood

Pros: The property was located in a quaint neighbourhood, with a few shops nearby, such as bakery, cafe, wine bar, pharmacy, a small supermarket, etc. The house was clean and comfortable, and had all the necessary utilities. If you're visiting York by car then I highly recommend this place. There's also a direct bus that takes you to York city centre, so that may also be a good option.

Cons: The Apple TV was an old model so it didn't support many of the modern streaming apps.

Pros: Great location, easy to get to York, lovely takeaways near - we recommend the fish and chips. we stayed for the snooker tournament. Village is very pretty and easy to drive to York. Very cosy. Thank you for turning the heating on for us before arriving as the temperature was in the minus! Very nice facilities/maintained property.

Cons: Perhaps a slightly later check out but not a massive deal breaker. We were very happy.

Really enjoyed our stay

Pros: A great location for trips to York and surrounding areas. The bus service was frequent, the restaurants/takeaways were delicious and well priced, and the accommodation whilst compact, had everything we needed. Sainsbury's within walking distance and milk in fridge was much appreciated after a five hour journey.

Cons: There wasn't anything to not like.

Ideal place for a stay in York

Pros: The property was ideal (clean, comfortable and full of everything you would need) and the location great - just near a bus stop. Highly recommend.
