Nice quiet residential location, comfy venue near the city.

Pros: Good manual, clear instructions, good communication. Good appliances in kitchen, TV and WiFi. Easy to control temperature.

Cons: Some kitchen utensils and crockery not clean. Lacking some basics like kitchen tongs, lids for all saucepans, washing up liquid, aluminium foil / cling film spare bin liners etc. that have been standard in similar venues. Light in upper bedroom didn't work.

Hidden fees but good property

Pros: Great property. Parking space is bigger than advertised.

Cons: Hidden £10 fee to verify my identity. Heavy security deposit or fee to waive it. Caveat emptor.

Pros: Very nice property,clean,comfortable, and spacious. Very well equipped kitchen,full-size fridge frizer. Pretty much everything you need is there. We really enjoyed it.

Excellent, just what we needed.

Pros: The property was spotlessly clean, all the bedding and towels were fresh. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and more. Would highly recommend booking this for a stay in York

Home from home but extra charges

Pros: Home from home, well equipped, clean & comfortable. Aldi a few mins walk away. Taxi into York approx £8.

Cons: Additional insurance charge wasn't clear when the booking was made (it was in the small print). Later check out would be good... 11am instead of 10am especially as check in isn't until 4pm

Pros: Fantastic property, great for a family trip away. Lovely garden area too for the kids. Super clean and tidy and really well presented! Can't wait to come back.

Very pleasant property with a homely feel and great location.

Pros: Spacious rooms, an overall feeling of space due to the layout of the rooms and high ceilings. All provisions very useful. Lovely neighbourhood. Our soon enjoyed trick or treating for Halloween. Bus connections into central York were very convenient.

Gorgeous, quirky cottage.

Pros: The cottage is so charming. The layout is really quirky & my daughter fell in love with her room. We really loved it. So well equipped, you have everything you need for staying there plus a great garden space. It's about 10 minutes' drive into York, which we did each day, just be aware parking is not cheap. There seem to be plenty of bus stops, and I think there is a park & ride close by, but the drive was super easy.

Cons: The double bed in the main bedroom has an awful mattress and really needs replaced and the door handle was broken and kept falling off..but that's our only complaint!!
