Villa Farm York

Pros: Villa farm is gorgeous. The cottages are done to high spec. The grounds are kept clean and tidy. Peaceful and quite.

Cons: The only thing that let it down was the mattreses. Unfortunately you could feel all the springs could do with 10cm memory foam toppers which wouldn't cost much to do. Hook on back if bathroom door would help to.

Suited us over the Christmas period

Pros: In a great setting spotlessly clean and comfortable made full use of the hot tub and in a great location for us to get to family. We didn’t see any staff at all but wanted to say Thank you for a great stay

Cons: We were very happy and as it was Christmas we didn’t want to disturb any staff but could have done with another small towel for hair also the vanity light didn’t work and no chopping board could be found all very minor!

Best long weekend in a very long time, it will be my first choice next time we visit York

Pros: Everything, nice and close to York, dog friendly, he loved it as did we. Lovely clean room and comfy bed. Contact numbers left for taxi's. Just a great stay thank you

Comfortable, homely cottage in lovely surroundings

Pros: The little cottage was just the right size for my needs. It was very well stocked with appliances, crockery, cutlery, pots pans, knives for preparation, also tea, coffee and little milk pots. I felt at home from first taking my bags in.

Cons: Wigginton Road was busy hence very noisy when sitting outside at the back, until too late to sit out in late September

Absolutely fantastic would 100% recommend

Pros: Very modern, comfortable, clean, wanted for nothing. Perfect for groups or families

A good place to stay, a short drive to York.

Pros: This is a good venue with decent accommodation. The rooms were clean, the bed was ok - there's plenty of easy access parking onsite. The info stated a washing machine when we booked, the room didn't have one. It was unfortunate, however the staff went out of their way to give us access to another room so that we could do our washing - easily solved! The shower broke while we were there - once again the staff went out of their way to have it repaired & fix the problem. It's a short drive into York which is a lovely place to visit. Parking in York is easy as they have a lot of car parking areas so it's worth staying out of the City.

We enjoyed our stay as a family. We got a good deal as it was 2 nights for the price of one!

Pros: Nice location, close to York. Very clean and inside the property it is well laid out with all that you need to enjoy your stay.

Cons: The beds are very uncomfortable and the exterior cottage walls are thin that adjoin to the properties next door.

Pros: Great location for our working weekend at York Racecourse
