A full on week of exploring North Yorkshire based in the most quiet idyllic lodge!

Pros: The property was a new lodge.. nice and clean and the location peace and quiet personified! We had to contact the staff/owners over a minor matter which was attended to quickly and efficiently.

Cons: Hard to think of any negatives. We wanted a very quiet site to use as a base to explore north Yorks and couldn’t have wished for anywhere better!

Bliss

Pros: The lodge was lovely and roomy and very clean. The views were wonderful and it was a very tidy well kept site.

Cons: There was nothing to dislike

Pros: The lodge was much larger than expected with a modern, welcome feel. It was well presented and clean, with a small utility area. Both Bedrooms had separate bathrooms and we liked the balcony outside space. As a family we really liked the small walk over the bridge and onto a field at the top. We used this as a base for going to see the forbidden corner and exploring the Richmond area. Good WiFi connection and smart TV.

Cons: Only had two small issues with the dishwasher not working and one of the showers being temperamental with the temperature.

A beautiful and relaxing retreat! Highly recommend. Very peaceful too.

Pros: We loved the location. Close enough to Richmond by car and close to local walks direct from the site. The lodge had everything. It had two separate bathrooms, both with showers, washing machine and a great balcony. The main room had two lovely, comfortable sofa’s and a dining area / room, for four people. Plus the parking ticket for Richmond square, was a real plus! Facilities at the lodge: Ironing board, iron and hairdryer.

Cons: We loved it all.

Pros: Big. very clean.but when you use for business it's normal not to have to buy a towel. no tea bags or sugar. apart from that nice

Pros: Marvellous, very clean, warm and comfortable. Site was very quiet and had lovely views. We will definitely return.

Tranquil and peaceful

Pros: Quite simply the most stunning place I have ever stayed in the UK. So peaceful yet 5 minutes drive away from shops and Tesco supermarket. The lodge was so nice you could live there. Only criticism, and it's a minor one all told, is that the bed was a bit on the hard side. This coupled with the warm weather meant that we didn't sleep as well as we could have. The park is so well maintained and is within minutes of some of the most beautiful countryside I have seen. We will definitely be back at Badgers Retreat in the future.

Cons: Other than the hard mattress absolutely nothing.
